Understanding Sand Mining

Monroe County is experiencing a boom in sand mining, but as with any boom the details may not be well understood. The presentation below is an excellent introduction to Frac Sand, its mining and use, from La Crosse County Community, Natural Resources and Economic Development Agent Karl Green:
