State 4-H Opportunities

Wisconsin 4-H offers many amazing opportunities. This list is the regularly scheduled programs facilitated by Wisconsin State 4-H.

  • Fall Forum– Usually held in November. Open to 7th graders through adults.
  • Arts Camp-
  • Space Camp– Usually held in April. 4-H youth travel to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama as a state-wide delegation. 6th-8th grade delegates and 8-10th grade counselors.
  • International Experiences Host an international student through 4-H or travel internationally with 4-H. Application process happens in February.
  • Art Beat-
  • National 4-H Conference- A statewide application process for the conference takes place each spring. Those selected travel to Washington DC for four days. Grades 10-12
  • State 4-H & Youth Conference– Held the last week of June on the UW-Madison campus. 7th-10th grade.
  • Citizenship Washington Focus Wisconsin has 3 one-week opportunities each June through July. Grades 10-12.
  • National 4-H Congress– Applications open in March for this November experience. 4-Hers travel to Atlanta, Georgia for this premier four-day 4-H event. For grades 10-12.
